We are looking for a Digital Marketing and Content Specialist who is skilled in their craft, thrives in a creative environment and welcomes new challenges and variety. As the Digital Marketing and Content Specialist, you will be responsible for the production and publication of content for Micado’s website and LinkedIn page. You will also, optimise digital content for business results using analytics and targeting capability, as well as ensure consistent application of Micado’s design assets, copy and tone across our digital presence.

What you will do

Create, update and maintain content across www.micado.ai, Micado’s LinkedIn page and produce knowledge articles for Micado’s help centre

Manage Micado’s social media accounts. Manage and provide accurate delivery of branded content on all social and digital channels growing social engagement

Capture our target audience through strong copywriting skills and visual imagery

Develop and manage a social media content calendar

Define and justify upcoming mediums ensuring that they align with our brand vision and business direction to interact with our audiences

Identify and report new social trends to ensure that we are front of mind for all our customers

Consistent design, copy and tone of voice applied across all digital content in line with brand guidelines

Deliver in line with go to market timelines for changes or campaign launches

Identify marketing and / or web content that is out-of-date, communicate & manage updating of this content

Use analytics and SEO tools etc. to continually optimise the performance of digital assets

Proactively recommend content ideas & implement changes

Work collaboratively in a cross functional team while also working with stakeholders to improve content production

Manage the effectiveness of advertising campaigns

Skills and Knowledge 

  • Experience creating customer facing digital content

  • Experience using digital tools for content management, analytics, targeting and digital configuration

  • Design and editorial (spelling, grammar) skills

  • Understanding of digital marketing, Search Engine Optimisation and HTML principles

  • Persuasive and creative writing techniques

  • Confident in doing online research

  • Confidence in using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe AI, Google Ad Manager

  • Confident in writing and posting content on LinkedIn

  • Outstanding, engaging and persuasive writing, storytelling and editing skills

  • Experience with social media, copywriting and web content coordination

  • Experience writing, sourcing and editing content

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload

  • Advanced skills in social media reporting, social listening tools and content management tools

Qualifications / Professional Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 1-2 years experience working in Marketing or Content Creation (tech industry preferred).

  • Proven digital and social media marketing expertise with a track record of successfully executing marketing strategies

  • Experience with advertising and marketing of Tech / SaaS products and services
